PrimaTu — Building a Brand Through the Website
PrimaTu is a boutique beauty and wellness salon in Amsterdam West, led by Italian specialist Alessandra. When we met, only a logo and rough wording existed. There was no real brand: no visual system, no tone of voice, no digital strategy. For a small business like PrimaTu, the website is often the first — and sometimes the only — touchpoint with potential clients. So we treated it not as a simple online brochure, but as the foundation of the entire brand.
We started by listening to Alessandra’s story: her Italian expertise in high-end massages and skincare, her philosophy of energy exchange, and her belief that everyone deserves a moment of calm. From there, we built a visual identity that feels sophisticated yet deeply welcoming — a palette of teal, slate, and warm earthy neutrals, paired with the elegant Italiana for headings and the highly legible Inter for body text. We refined the existing logo and expanded the wording into a consistent, empathetic tone of voice: calm, authentic, professional, and inclusive.
The result is a brand that finally reflects Alessandra’s expertise: a cohesive, elegant, and digital presence that turns visitors into clients. And because it’s built on a simple, scalable system, it will grow with the salon for years to come. For a small business, the website is not a communication tool — it is the business itself.
