Vietato Ballare.Interdit de danser is a visually striking piece directed by Alessia Siniscalchi, showcased at the Napoli Teatro Festival 2014. This project intertwines the vibrant aesthetics of pop culture with performance art, specifically drawing inspiration from Andy Warhol’s iconic Mao Zedong portraits. In a bold artistic fusion, I integrated images of naked bodies captured during rehearsal sessions in Paris, creating a powerful commentary on identity and representation. 

Scenographer Jacopo Valsania constructed an innovative metal framework to display this artwork live on stage. A substantial canvas was printed as a focal scenographic piece at the Museo Pietrarsa during the festival, further enhancing the visual narrative.

For the communication design aspect, I crafted an eye-catching poster and a series of flyers to promote the event in public spaces. Additionally, I developed a Tumblr site dedicated to showcasing all images from the performance, allowing for ongoing engagement with the audience.
