Drawings, sculptures, and gestures by Nicola D’Ambrosio
As part of my long-term photographic work with Untitled Age, I documented Bestiario Ritrovato, a site-specific installation by Nicola D’Ambrosio, curated by Christian Taranto/Untitled Age. The exhibition was presented at Pu-Téca Tramandars, a 24h-accessible street-level exhibition space in the historic Borgo Casamale of Somma Vesuviana (Naples). The installation featured an intimate selection of painting, drawings and sculptures, placed in a former newsstand turned into a votive capsule for contemporary art. The documentation captures both the material and emotional presence of these creatures, inhabiting a space suspended between the sacred and the vernacular./p>
