February 2021: do not get yourself wrong. If the morning light in the Medina highlights empty space, it’s maybe not because of Covid 19. It’s because the city life isn’t started yet, pretty normal. But Jemaa El Fna square does not lie: the emptiness makes Marrakech look like a communist city of some Korea. That’s right, you can get into the mystic of rooftops, but when you change the perspective, marginal rooftops give you back a gaze on something concrete and contemporary, the peripheral city.
