Kulturfactory is an artist residency developed by Kulturscio’k and Alessia Siniscalchi at Villa Santa Maria, an early 20th-century estate in Domicella, Campania, between Mount Vesuvius and the Vallo di Lauro. The photographic work documented the villa as a place for artistic creation, residency programs, and cultural hospitality. The series focuses on architectural details, interiors, natural light, common areas, private rooms, the garden, and the relationship between the house and its surrounding landscape.

Restored in 2014, the villa combines historical architecture, domestic interiors, and contemporary hospitality. With 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a large kitchen, shared spaces, gardens, and panoramic views, the estate can host up to 15 guests.

Particular attention was given to the rehearsal room, a 110 m² space with natural light and linoleum flooring, designed for workshops, rehearsals, and summer working sessions. The images were produced to support Kulturfactory’s visual communication and to present Villa Santa Maria as a working environment for artists, performers, and cultural groups.
