Photography and visual notes on the archaeology of landscape
The landscape in Campania, the region of Naples, is strongly shaped by the presence of ruins—archaeological parks, informal findings, and scattered fragments. Through this series of photographs, I explore how ruins function as visual and conceptual anchors within the landscape, extending the ideas first developed in the book Hey ruins!.
Each image documents a different form of visual sedimentation, inviting a reading of archaeological parks as ecosystems with their own languages and presences. This series is part of the broader project Arroz con Pollo – Landscapes.
